History
I knew Melanie as drinkthestars from the GPS16 poetry board. In 2005, she initiated the first phone call. We wrote co-wrote poetry (and the beginnings of a story), told each other our life stories, and discussed how we would improve the world if we ruled it. Even though we don't talk much anymore, I'm always thinking of her and wishing to be like her. I also named my first car after her, as she was the first to suggest that I name it.
