Echo Realm
Tarry a little
By cave-studded shore
Where faeries and spirits
are dwelling no more
Where moss-covered statues
and crumbling halls
Will whisper with voices
behind waterfalls
Come a bit closer
You might hear the tune
Of mermaid ghosts singing
in empty lagoons
Of elf-babies crying
in cradles of oak
Of ruby-winds sighing
Beneath rainy cloak
If you step softly
And watch where you tread
You might feel a sprite
like a spider-web's thread
But, haste, lest the moon rise
And catch in its net
You, unwary stranger
the world will forget
Tarry a little
By glimmering seas
Where voices will echo
Adrift in the breeze
